Saperavi

Saperavi, a Georgian teinturier grape, boasts intensely pigmented, dark-skinned berries and red-fleshed pulp. It produces robust, age-worthy wines with high acidity, firm tannins, and flavors of black fruit, spice, and earth. Often made into dry reds, it's key in traditional Georgian qvevri winemaking.
