The agave is then slow-roasted for 79 hours in volcanic stone ovens, allowing the rich flavors to develop.

After undergoing a careful double distillation process, the tequila is aged for a minimum of 12 months in new American oak barrels. But the journey doesn't end there. Gran Patron Burdeos undergoes an additional maturation period in French oak barrels, previously used to age some of the world's finest Bordeaux wine.

This unique aging process imparts a distinctive character to the tequila, resulting in a rich and complex flavor profile. The bourbon and Bordeaux barrels contribute warm notes of vanilla, caramel, and toasted oak, while the French oak adds layers of fruitiness and subtle spice.
