Coquimbo

Coquimbo, Chile, crafts primarily pisco, a grape brandy, under a semi-arid climate. Traditional methods use copper pot stills. Historically, it's a key pisco producing region, its unique grape varieties and distillation processes defining its distinct character. While wine exists, pisco dominates.
