These Conditions of Use explain the rules for using the LQRS website, accounts, community features, publishing tools, and related services. By accessing or using LQRS, you agree to these conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. About LQRS
LQRS is an independent drinks discovery and intelligence platform. It combines structured product and company records, editorial materials, recipes, collections, news, paid press releases, job listings, user-created channels, and moderated community contributions. LQRS is an information service; it does not sell alcoholic beverages and does not guarantee that a product is available or lawful in every location.
2. Eligibility and responsible use
Alcohol-related content is intended only for people who may lawfully view it in their jurisdiction. You must be at least 18 years old and, where local law sets a higher legal drinking age, meet that higher age. LQRS does not encourage excessive consumption. Product descriptions, recipes, pairing ideas, and AI-generated overviews are informational and are not medical, legal, safety, or professional advice.
3. Accounts and access
You are responsible for the accuracy of account information, the security of your credentials, and activity carried out through your account. Do not share passwords, one-time codes, company access codes, or other restricted credentials. LQRS may suspend access where needed to protect users, records, or the service, or where these conditions are breached.
4. Community and publishing
When you submit a review, question, answer, channel post, company correction, job listing, press release, image, or other material, you confirm that you have the right to submit it and that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge. Do not submit unlawful, deceptive, discriminatory, abusive, privacy-invasive, infringing, unsafe, or promotional content disguised as independent editorial work.
You retain ownership of your original content. You grant LQRS a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, translate where appropriate, display, distribute, and promote that content for operating and improving LQRS. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except for reasonable backups, moderation records, legal obligations, and content already shared by others where removal is not technically or legally possible.
Submissions may be checked, edited for clarity or structure, labelled, rejected, unpublished, or removed. News, editorial articles, community posts, press releases, and sponsored material have different provenance and must remain distinguishable. Payment does not guarantee publication or favourable treatment.
5. Company and brand records
Access to manage a company, brand, product, collection, or other record may require verification and may be limited to specified fields. Claiming or editing a record does not transfer ownership of LQRS database rights or give the claimant control over independent editorial coverage, community discussion, or historic moderation records. Material changes may remain pending until reviewed.
6. AI-assisted features
LQRS may use automated systems to help search, summarise, classify, translate, or draft information. AI output may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Verify important facts against linked sources and authoritative product or regulatory information. Do not submit confidential, sensitive, or third-party personal information to an AI input unless you are authorised to do so.
7. Purchases and paid publishing
Some business publishing tools may require payment through a third-party payment provider. The price, currency, publication period, refund terms, and moderation status shown during checkout form part of the transaction. Payment card details are handled by the payment provider rather than stored by LQRS. Statutory consumer or business rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.
8. Intellectual property and data use
The LQRS name, visual identity, original editorial work, database structure, software, and compiled data are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party names, trademarks, images, and data remain the property of their respective owners. You may link to public pages and use short quotations where permitted by law, but you may not scrape, bulk copy, resell, republish, or use the service to train a competing dataset or model without written permission or another valid legal basis.
9. Availability and third-party services
LQRS may change, suspend, or discontinue features and cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Links, embeds, payment pages, maps, identity providers, AI services, and source materials operated by third parties are governed by their own terms. A link or reference does not imply endorsement.
10. Disclaimers and liability
LQRS is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, LQRS makes no warranty about completeness, accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. LQRS is not responsible for decisions about purchase, consumption, travel, employment, investment, health, or legal compliance made from platform content. Nothing in these conditions excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Changes and contact
These conditions may be updated when the service, law, or business model changes. Material changes will be identified by a new effective date and, where appropriate, an in-product notice. Questions about these conditions can be sent through the LQRS contact page. Operator information is available in the Imprint.
Effective date: July 29, 2026.
